Welcome to Hope Through Music!

My passion is helping others find hope and joy in life! I’m committed to helping you discover the joy and fulfillment that music can bring. To see if we’re a good fit, I invite you to schedule a free trial lesson. I look forward to connecting with you and exploring your musical potential!

My Approach:
With over 30 years of experience as a music educator, I’ve had the privilege of guiding countless students on their musical paths in various settings. I transitioned to online teaching in 2020, creating a welcoming and engaging virtual learning environment.

My teaching philosophy centers on:
• Individualized instruction: Tailoring each lesson to your unique goals, learning style, and musical preferences.
• Fun and engaging learning: Making music education enjoyable and inspiring.
• Patience and understanding: Providing a supportive and encouraging atmosphere for learners of all ages and abilities.
• Faith in Students: Everyone has the ability to learn, and everyone learns a littler differently.

The key is finding what works for each student and helping them use whatever tools they may need to be successful.

Become Part of Our Musical Community! Beyond individual lessons, you’ll become part of a vibrant and supportive online community. Our studio portal provides:
• Connection: Interact with fellow musicians, share your progress, and find inspiration.
• Motivation: Participate in friendly challenges and earn points on the leaderboard.
• Encouragement: Engage in community chats to support and motivate one another.

We offer personalized music lessons designed to nurture your musical journey, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced musician. Areas of focus include:
• Instruments: Piano, Voice, Guitar, Trumpet, Baritone, Tuba, Clarinet, and Flute. Combine any 2 lesson types for a 45 minute combo lesson!
• Music Theory: Integrated into every lesson to provide a solid foundation.
• Music Composition: Explore your creative potential with tailored composition guidance.

Lesson Format:
Lessons are typically 30 minutes in length, with options for 45- or 60-minute sessions as your needs evolve. I believe in a collaborative approach, working closely with you to:
• Identify your goals and aspirations.
• Develop a personalized learning plan.
• Provide ongoing support, even between lessons.

One last thing… I survive on students who can pay full price; however, I offer scholarships as needed and never want finances to prevent someone from enhancing life in this way. Please contact me even if you cannot afford full price. I look forward to meeting you soon! 🙂
