About

About

I’m a professional musician who specializes in singing, guitar, violin and songwriting. I’m very outgoing and passionate about teaching music! I love working with students of all ages and abilities, as it makes teaching really fun and exciting.

I work closely with students to make a curriculum that works towards their personal goals, rather than forcing a set curriculum. I’m passionate about making lessons a place students can come to have fun and be creative.

Making lessons a safe space allows my students to push themselves to do things they thought they couldn’t. I love seeing my students grow as people and musicians over the years. It’s important to me to build close relationships to my students, so that lessons feel like a place of enjoyment instead of a chore.

Music Qualifications & Achievements:

  • I have taught private music lessons for over 10 years
  • In addition, I have taught group music lessons at camps and schools, and have a variety of experience with working with all ages and abilities

“Kristin is incredibly warm and friendly. She is easy to speak to and is very patient with her students. She gives the right amount of challenge along with encouraging confidence to try something new. Only a couple of weeks in and already writing solos – which was really scary! But Kristin made it a judge-free zone and brought out the fun. Thanks so much and looking forward to more lessons.”
