About

About

Hello! I’m a friendly, supportive, and highly experienced singing tutor with 5+ years of teaching students aged 10 and up, from complete beginners to advanced young performers and adults. I teach with patience, clarity, and encouragement, helping students develop confidence, technique, and genuine enjoyment in singing.

Alongside teaching, I’m also a professional singer with over 15 years of industry experience. I began singing professionally at the age of 12 and have performed extensively across France, worked in recording studios with well-known artists and respected sound engineers, and developed a strong understanding of both live performance and studio technique. Some of the songs I’ve written and performed have been featured on MTV, television spots, and more recently, my self-produced music has been played on BBC Scotland Radio. I continue to train, study, write, and produce my own material as staying active as an artist allows me to bring fresh, current knowledge directly into my lessons.

My teaching background comes from working at Southside Performance Studio (SPS) in Glasgow, where I’ve coached students across a wide range of ages and abilities. Through this work, I’ve helped young singers preparing for their first performance, adults returning to music after years away, actors working on vocal confidence, and beginners who simply want to build a healthy, relaxed voice. My experience in both teaching and the professional music world allows me to offer lessons that blend solid vocal technique with real-world artistry.

My approach is warm, calm, and tailored to each student. I believe everyone has a voice worth developing, and my role is to help you discover how to use it safely, confidently, and expressively. Lessons are structured but relaxed — I aim to make every session enjoyable while still building essential skills such as breath control, vocal placement, pitch accuracy, smooth tone quality, emotional connection to lyrics, and performance confidence.

Because I’ve spent years performing live and recording professionally, I also help students understand microphone technique, studio etiquette, and how to deliver emotionally honest performances. Many singers find that working with someone who is still actively producing music provides a more inspiring and up-to-date learning experience.

If you’re looking for a singing tutor who brings together professional industry experience, years of teaching, and a kind, structured, positive approach, I would love to help you grow your voice. Whether you’re 10 or 60, brand new or already confident, every lesson is shaped around your needs, your personality, and your musical goals.

Feel free to get in touch, I’d be delighted to work with you and help you develop a strong, expressive, and joyful singing voice.
