About

About

I am a professional drum tutor and drummer with over 18 years of teaching experience and over 30 years playing experience. It’s been my privilege to have played all over the world and to have played drums on many records played on BBC Radio 1, 2, 3 and BBC Radio 6 Music to name but a few. I teach from my purpose built recording and teaching studio in Mount Pleasant in Swansea and have also taught in Secondary, Primary and Higher Education. I currently teach in Ffynone House School. I currently have a limited number of private teaching slots available .Full Enhanced DBS (formally CRB)

I teach all styles, abilities and ages from 5 years old to 70 years old (as are some of my current students!) I use various tuition techniques and philosophies to ensure my students are taught what they need to know, be it for Rockschool grades (Recommended Rockschool tutor), improving drum kit technique or just to learn drums for fun. I also teach and carry out video exams for Trinity Rock and Pop grades.
