About

About

My name is Dominika and I am a traverso flute teacher. I graduated from the Academy of Music in Katowice and studied at the Hochshule di Musik in Detmold, Germany.

My students range in age from 6 to 66, so I invite everyone to colaborate 🙂

I have 7 years of experience in teaching and as a soloist and flutist in various types of bands (classical quintet, entertainment quintet, tango trio, folk-metal band, folk bands) and orchestras (wind and symphony). I took part in various national and international competitions, such as the Stockholm International Music Competition and the Leon Janacek International Competition.

My approach to teaching is: on the same level as imparting knowledge about phrase building and technique; for me, it’s about motivating and (I hope:)) inspiring the student. I believe that in a stressful environment, no learning, especially learning an instrument, will not be an adventure and discovery, but an eternal struggle and fighting with the instrument.
