About

About

I began playing the guitar at age 13 when I was bought a guitar as a birthday present. I had been asking for this for a long time and once I held that guitar I knew this was for me. I spent endless days tinkering and playing, teaching myself step by step how to make music and replicate my favourite bands.

I have now been playing a total of 27 years and it never gets old. My favourite type of music to play is Iron Maiden, Metallica, Joe Satriani and Steve Vai. My claim to fame is being able to go backstage with Iron Maiden when I was 15 and playing the guitar with Janick Gers and Dave Murray.

I co-created a band called Switch Theory with a group of musical friends who pushed me into a more heavy genre of music. We played our own music inspired by Killswitch Engage and Avenged Sevenfold. We travelled locally to complete gigs and competed in Battle of the Bands. Unfortunately, due to family commitments, Switch Theory no longer plays together however I have continued to play solo increasing my knowledge and range of music.

I would the be delighted to teach you how to play the guitar, get in touch to find out more about my guitar lessons.
