About

Hi there! I’m Candace Miller, a passionate and patient music teacher dedicated to helping students discover the joy of making music. I specialize in piano and voice lessons for all ages — from young beginners who are just starting their musical journey to adults rediscovering their love for music. My teaching style is encouraging, creative, and tailored to each student’s unique goals and learning pace.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree and have several years of experience teaching both private lessons and group music classes. Over the years, I’ve worked with students who have gone on to perform confidently in recitals, school musicals, and local events. I believe that music should be fun, expressive, and meaningful — not stressful or intimidating. Whether you want to play your favorite songs, learn to read sheet music, or develop proper vocal technique, I’ll meet you where you are and guide you every step of the way.

In my piano lessons, students learn everything from note reading and rhythm to music theory and performance skills. For voice students, I focus on healthy vocal technique, pitch accuracy, breath control, and building confidence through songs they truly enjoy. I use a mix of classical training methods and modern approaches to make lessons engaging and relevant.

I’m also experienced with online teaching, making it easy for students to learn from the comfort of home. My lessons are interactive, goal-oriented, and filled with encouragement. I take pride in creating a safe, positive learning space where students can experiment, make mistakes, and grow musically.

What makes my lessons special is that I genuinely care about my students’ progress — not just in skill, but in confidence. I celebrate every small victory and help students see how music can enrich their everyday lives.

If you’re looking for a teacher who’s reliable, friendly, and passionate about helping you (or your child) succeed, I’d love to work with you. Let’s make music something you look forward to every week!
