About

About	I have been playing in bands, recording and a stint of deejaying too for about 23 years. I have always been inclined to the rhythm section of the band and have played bass and drums in bands of various genres: rock, dub, reggae, grunge and metal. I took a special interest to the recording processes, gear. business and projects that bands, songwriters and recording artists often undertake. I also created the LRRecords label in 2002 going for a deep dive into electronic music and we are still here! Now with The Bent Tree rock & metal label finally grown up and starting to bear some of its first fruits! I love being a producer and lover of great records where I have the blessing to keep on learning, experiencing, creating and sharing great music with great people. This is what has honed my recording and mixing skills, relationships and experience. In 2021 I find myself still playing bass and drums, again in two Heavy Music bands – and again I am the producer, mixer and mastering audio engineer. I am also making great relationships of value with new and existing Studio & Label clients, mentors and collaborators! As time rolls on my record label and my passion to make great sounding records is even greater! I am a lifelong member of the Professional Production System with Jordan Valeriote at Hardcore Music Studio plus the Profitable Producer Course by Brian Hood at the Six Figure Home Studio. My Musical Inspirations

I’m a metal-head – I like all the styles of metal, and especially obsessed with doom metal, sludge, and stoner rock.
Some bands that come to mind: Black Sabbath, Metallica, Slayer, Kyuss, Electric Wizard, Monolord, Sleep, Acid King, King Parrot, Suneater, Infected Rain, Jinjer, Tool

These are just some of the bands that inspired me to take up the music path and keep it going.

Sabbath Riff Worship represents a unique fusion of heavy, doom-laden guitar riffs reminiscent of Black Sabbath’s iconic sound with the spiritual practice of worship and reverence. This musical approach combines the powerful, distorted tones and slow, crushing rhythms characteristic of Black Sabbath-style metal with themes of devotion, creating an atmospheric experience that bridges the gap between the raw intensity of heavy rock and the contemplative nature of worship music. The result is a sonic landscape where thunderous power chords and bluesy, down-tuned guitar work serve as vehicles for spiritual expression, offering listeners a darker, more visceral alternative to traditional worship formats while maintaining a sense of sacred purpose and meditative depth.

But I do appreciate and listen to all good music too!
I like electronic genres like: dubstep, dnb, dark ambient, and modular synthesis
Also genres: Krautrock, hardcore punk, New Wave, Soul
and….
I love dub music, especially the heavier dubs and steppers!

And often I like to put on my fav community radio stations and let the dj/programmers do the music selecting for me!
