Hi. My name is Andy Richard. I am a multi-instrumentalist and music teacher. Thanks for looking at my profile on musicteacher.com

I specialize in piano, electric and acoustic guitar, ear training, and theory lessons. I am offering your first lesson and consultation for free. My lessons are for beginner and intermediate students of all countries, ages 5 and older, who are reliable and love music. I also teach and have experience teaching students who require special education.

I customize private lessons for each student. I teach people music they want to learn and music that will help them to become excellent musicians! Many of my students have told me that they learn a lot from me while having fun! I’m available to teach many days and hours weekly, online, on Zoom. TEACHING HISTORY

  • 1983 – 1989 – Canadian Conservatory of Music in Windsor, Ontario, Canada – teaching piano, electric and acoustic guitar, drums, ear training, and theory
  • 1989 – 2009 – Toronto Catholic District School Board – grade 7 and 8 instrumental music teacher – teaching brass, woodwind, percussion, guitar, and playing guitar and piano for school choirs
  • 2009 – 2021 – private teacher at home, online, and Allegro Music Store in Toronto – teaching piano, electric and acoustic guitar, drums, ear training, and theory
  • 2022 – teaching piano, electric and acoustic guitar, ear training, and theory online in Windsor at my home studio. This is where I am currently teaching.

All of the above has accumulated to teaching thousands of people (kids and adults), starting when I was a teenager in 1983.

I recently started creating new videos and promoting my youtube channel. The link below leads to my home page, trailer, and videos. It will give you an idea of what and how I teach, how I play guitar, piano & sing, the home studio I teach in, and my personality.
