Trinity Drum Kit Grades (Drum Teachers)
Hello!
Unfortunately I now having increasing concerns that certain Trinity venues, and examiners are not taking their role in children’s education seriously. I had six recent drum students taking various grades all of which have fedback to me that on arrival at the exam venue, no drum kit was available to prepare on? Also that the drum kit provided was substandard missing parts, also noted that the examiner seem not care….how can students possibly give their best performance in such poor exam environment. I provide a professional drum and vocal studio in North Yorkshire. Parents paying exam fees expect the same when attending a external examination. I have suggested parents writing to Trinity for further feedback. I will be considering the future musical curriculum I provide as I take pride in the quality of teaching I provide at my private music studio. Any feedback or thoughts from any teachers would be much appreciated many thanks.
