Well that’s the thing, it was his first and only lesson. He emailed 15 minutes into the lesson time saying ‘I’m so sorry I can’t make it etc I’ll still pay the lesson fee if you send over your bank details’. So I emailed them over and 6 reminders later and still no sign 🙁

It’s a case of bad debt that you might have to let go of, as Matthew once said.. Then decide whether you’ll take upfront payment for first lessons upon time of booking, as Ruth Discua does..

OOOH that’s a good point. So new students pay in advance for first session – or atleast a deposit. Thanks!

Hahaa firm but fair it’s hard to find the balance I guess not sure ive fully cracked it could do with some more tips if anyone’s got any x
