A Singing Podcast (Singing Teachers)
Thought of a cool idea the other day – I’ve been thinking for ages that I’d love to put together a singing podcast! It might be half an hour long, and put together from Skype conversations with other singing teachers!
We could make the first one about breathing, with each of us thinking of one exercise we really like and I interview you about it over Skype?
We’d put your websites on it so if anyone wanted lessons they could get in touch 🙂
What do you think? Might be a cool way to get these awesome discussions out into the world.
(Plus we could maybe get some famous singing teachers involved? ;D)

this sounds awesome. I’d love to hear some conversation about why/when to teach breathing. With only a few exceptions I tend to not teach breathing at all!

I’d love to be in on a conversation with you on that Kat. I do teach breathing very minimally as I think there’s a lot of misleading ideas out there on it but I’d love to know why you barely teach it at all.

Saying about NOT teaching breathing actually sounds really interesting.. Because actually, we shouldn’t need to teach it!

This could be a cool thing to discuss in the forum – pros and cons of teaching breathing… Might also be helpful preparation for the podcast, I suppose?
