Hello! My name is Laurie Lowe and I am a professional drum tutor located in Edgware. I offer high-quality drum lessons in the Edgware area.
I am a musician/drum teacher, my career spans over 20 years. I have had a lot of experience working with many different people in a variety of different environments, having travelled the world from this line of work.
I am very professional and do my very best to meet the needs of the clients and colleagues who I work with. I pride myself on attention to detail and striving to get the best results I can.

As the fundamental techniques for drumming are the same accross genres, I am pleased to offer drum lessons in any style my student would wish to learn. Although I am a specialist in the styles of Jazz, Rock, Funk, Fusion and Pop Music.
I offer my lessons to students of 16 and beyond, ensuring everyone can feel the fantastic benefits of playing the drums.
Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.
I teach both beginners and advanced students in a wide range of styles and genres and will make a lesson plan to suit your ability.

My experience as a freelance musician has included working with some of the top musicians in the UK, Europe and the USA in various genres of music such as Jazz, Funk, Soul, Latin, Rock, World-music, to name a few. I would be delighted to pass this knowledge onto you.
Over my career I have had the pleasure to work with artists such as Nicolas Meier (Meier Group) – (2003 – present), Groove Razors – (2009 – present), Preston Glasgow Lowe – (2011 – present), Robert Mitchell – (2010 – 2016), Gilad Atzmon- (2008), John Law – (2013 – 2016), Natacha Atlas – (2016 – present) and Cecelia Stalin – (2012 – present).
I pride myself on my attention to detail and getting the very best out of my students, although I am very friendly and easy to work with.

I like to create a tailored lesson plan for each individual student based on their musical interests and goals within a set framework.
I have developed my skills communicating my knowledge to others whether they are a beginner, intermediate or advanced student. I am keen to share my passion with students and I am able to adapt to each individual's way of learning.

My lessons are charged at £30 per half hour and £40 per hour for all students.
I teach most of my lessons from my dedicated teaching studio in the NW7 2AJ area.
I teach a wide range of students of all abilities. I currently offer my tuition to ages 16+.
Weekly lessons are the best option if you want to make solid progress however, I also offer fortnightly lessons if you would prefer.
Please note Drum Lessons Edgware operates 48-hour cancellation policy. Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will still be charged full price.
