Hi, my name is Adam Wells, welcome to Bass Lessons Watford. I offer professional bass guitar lessons to students of any age or ability in the Watford area.
I have been teaching bass guitar for many years and I take pride in offering professional and fun lessons that are suited to students of any age or ability. I will always take the time to get to you know on a personal level so I can tailor the lesson plans to suit you.
Learning any instrument is something that I believe should be a fun experience so I will always do my best to keep the lessons light and relaxed but informative too. The lessons I provided are well rounded and will cover all elements such as musical theory and practical exercises.

No matter whether you are a total beginner or have been playing for years and just want to get to that next level, anybody is welcome to take lessons with me. I am fluent in all different styles and genres so can cater for whatever you need.
I have experience working with both young and adult students, so don't worry about age! It's never really too early or too late to learn a new skill. I also offer music theory lessons that help you discover and understand the inner workings of music behind the scenes.
Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.
I have played the bass for many years and have gained experience playing in all styles and genres. Whatever you need from these lessons together we can help you get your bass playing to that next level.
I have played and taught the bass for many years both in a private and a state setting. Over the years I have worked with all kinds of artists from all walks of life and love being a part of that musical journey. This has allowed me to develop well rounded musical knowledge and playing ability. Even if you are in need of a second opinion before buying your first bass I am more than happy to help in anyway that I can.
My lessons will cover all of the essential skills that you need to be a bass player and all round musician. This will cover things like hammer ons, pull offs, slides and bends etc. I'll also show you how to play in time and to have a better understanding rhythm and subdivisions. From there we can build upon those basics to develop more advanced techniques and therefore more advanced songs to learn too.
For those students who wish to sit their graded exams I also offer theory lessons that cover the syllabus that you would need in order to make it through those exams. On the higher levels these exams are a great way to help accrue UCAS points and other qualifications that will help you study music further should you choose to do so. I want you to leave each lessons feeling excited about what you've just learnt and that you are keen to go and practice to see the improvements.
