I recommend weekly Zoom lessons however, this is not mandatory. You are more than welcome to take lessons as and when you like. I will always work to your schedule & allow you to take lessons as and when you need them.
I offer online Zoom tuition in a wide range of styles including Classical, Folk, Pop, Rock & Jazz. What you learn during your lessons is totally up to you.
Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.
I teach the Cello via Zoom to students from all over the world. I welcome both beginner learners and advanced players to take lessons with me. I will make a lesson plan that suits your needs as a learner.
I'm a native of Cleveland, Ohio, USA. I received a Bachelor’s degree of Music studying cello and a Bachelor’s degree of Arts in French Language from Baldwin Wallace University and Conservatory in Berea, Ohio. I also completed a chamber music emphasis, which consisted of organising three chamber music recitals, one at the Conservatory and two others in local churches in the community.
I studied with Regina Mushabac and co-principal cellist of the Cleveland Orchestra, Richard Weiss. I was actively involved in Symphony Orchestra conducted by the former Cleveland Ballet conductor, Dwight Oltman, and participated in BW’s prestigious Bach Festival, the oldest collegiate Bach fest in the nation.
Following graduation, I worked as an English teacher in three elementary schools in Paris, France. I have just obtained a Master’s degree in Music from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama where I performed in many college ensembles.
I'm very passionate about chamber music and succeeded in raising 700 US dollars for the Young Centre for Immigrant Children’s Rights at a recital at All Saint’s Church in November 2018.
I love teaching and have many years of experience. I first began as an undergraduate student at the Baldwin Wallace Conservatory Outreach program. I learned a lot about pedagogy during my time as an English teacher assistant in a primary school in France.
Ultimately, I want to help them become independent learners by showing them how to think critically and how to break down any challenge into achievable components. My lessons will always be built around you and will be in learning style that you can feel comfortable with.
Learning online is now possible with technologies like Zoom, Skype and FaceTime, as well as others, to enable distance learning a great alternative for in-person lessons.
I have many students who learn online and as long as you have a connection speed of at least 5MBPS & are willing to download Zoom or Skype we are all good to go. I would be very happy to help talk you through what you need to download to get set-up to have lessons.
I approach teaching lessons on Zoom the same way as I do for in-person lessons, giving students the same technical skills and pieces of music to learn as if they were in the studio learning with me. This has enabled students located many thousands of miles away to be able to take lessons with me, with no difference to the quality of the lesson or content taught.
I'm a professional performer and teacher who can help you learn to play the Cello online via Zoom. My lessons are built around you and taken from the comfort of your own home. We will learn both music that you are familiar with and learn the styles that you need to improve on. If you ever have any questions, please feel free to ask.
[email protected]My Zoom Cello Lessons are charged at £35 per hour / $40 per hour / €40 per hour.
My lessons are all taken via Zoom but other options are available, such as Skype, FaceTime, WhatsApp etc.
Learning Cello should be for everyone regardless of age & because of this I offer my lessons to students of ages 3 and up.
I recommend weekly lessons for the best results but I'm happy to offer lessons as and when you want to learn them.
The 48-hour cancellation policy is operated at Zoom Cello Lessons. If you cancel a lesson with less than 48 hours notice you will still be charged full price for your lesson.
