Hi, I’m Solange Freyre, singer-actress-dancer. I have 24-year experience in Musical Theatre, in Buenos Aires, New York, Los Angeles and Madrid. I’ve been a voice coach for many years too. Also a Musical Theatre and Dance teacher.

I started in Buenos Aires with Opera singing, then moved into Musical Theatre by chance (I’ve got my Economics Degree), when the most important director chose me for the main role in Dracula The musical. Then I was Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady, and then moved to NYC, where I studied and made some gigs before I was hired by Crystal Cruises as a Lead Singer. I moved to L. A. for training and then I travelled the world with them. Then I settled down in Madrid where I worked in Musical Theatre and I created my own shows.

I chose singing because one day I opened my mouth singing The Sound of Music (the first song I learnt) and people were touched. So I thought: “there’s something special here”

Music Qualifications & Achievements:

I created my own Musical Theatre Children’s plays, my own Tango Show, (THE NEW URBAN TANGO, Alcala Theatre, Madrid) My own Broadway show (Maipo Theatre, Buenos Aires and Principe Pio Theatre, Madrid), I created my Solo Show (Maipo Kabaret Buenos Aires and Off Latina Madrid).

In 2017 I was Finalist in Spain Got Talent, and my audition was viral and I got the Golden Buzzer (very exciting!). In 2018 I was Donna, in Mamma Mia, in Dominican Republic (amazing experience and great beaches !). I composed and wrote my first album called De repente (suddenly), which I launched in September 2020.

Now I’m composing, teaching online and performing little by little after the pandemic situation. I love to perform LIVE!
