Teacher Info
As a teacher, I believe that the only thing more important than having good, foundational instrumental technique is that you use that technique to explore and enjoy your instrument!
After completing my Grade 8 Classical Guitar and starting to play my first paid bass guitar and upright bass gigs in Cornwall, I moved up to Southampton to study BA Music and Philosophy, specialising in Spanish Guitar and bass guitar performance.
During my degree, I spent a year studying Music Education at the Charles University of Prague. This and enjoying teaching bass, classical guitar and ukulele led me to Bristol, where I am currently studying towards Qualified Teacher Status as a music teacher.
I greatly enjoy teaching in any genre, but my specialisms are classical guitar, jazz/funk guitar, jazz/funk bass guitar, indie ukulele and rock.
