I am a highly experienced music teacher, my specialties include an electric guitar, acoustic guitar, classical guitar, music production, and piano. I have been teaching and performing professionally for over six years and have crafted my teaching method over this time, I am comfortable teaching in any style or genre.

When teaching younger learners I like to use a pedagogical approach that encompasses music theory and sight-reading before moving on to more guitar-specific material. This is to ensure that the pupil has developed transferable skills and can apply their musical knowledge to other instruments and musical contexts should they wish to do so.

I am a patient and knowledgeable teacher and can teach either face to face or online – I have been teaching online lessons more so recently and am equally comfortable teaching in this setting. I have an excellent exam record with RGT, Trinity, Rockschool, and others, however, I also am fine teaching students who do not necessarily wish to pursue graded examinations and would rather learn for fun or to jam.
