Hi, I’m Morven and I am an experienced vocal tutor, piano teacher, community musician, and choir leader based in Aberdeen.

I have a great passion for all things music and performing and love passing on the knowledge I have acquired over the years to my students. I also have a very keen interest in using music to improve well being.

I completed my Bachelor’s degree in music in 2014 and have since gained experience in one to one teaching, working with various schools and charities throughout Scotland, and working with a large UK choir company as a cover leader.

I am a great believer in making music fun and accessible to all, so whether you would like to take graded exams, are gearing up for auditions or just want to sound better on those long car journeys, I will always work with you towards your own goals.

I am constantly educating myself, learning about different approaches, and improving my own skills so that I am able to consistently deliver tailored, informed, and fun lessons.

I teach vocals from beginners to advanced and I teach piano from beginners to an intermediate level.

I aim to provide a safe space for students to learn, have fun, and grow their love for music.

Music Qualifications & Achievements:

I have a Bachelors of Music, from the University of Aberdeen. I have also recently completed a credited course for vocal first aid, this is the foundation course to becoming a vocal rehab specialist and is accredited by Vocal Health.
