Matt has been teaching piano to my son for about a year now. Matt is a friendly and considerate teacher. He is always happy to explain and pace the lessons at a comfortable level. Having learnt from him for a short while myself, I would definitely recommend him for his teaching style, patience and lesson structure.

Matt has taught our son piano for the last two years, for the first few weeks in-person and then using Zoom during the Covid lockdowns. He’s friendly, enthusiastic, competent and punctual and always able to accommodate our last minute changes in schedule. Our son has always enjoyed his lessons and now has a good foundation in the piano and music theory thanks to Matt.

Inspirational teacher, accommodating with the genre covered, will transcribe your favourite music, so you can learn to play it. Very supportive, patient and understanding, easy to get along with, and at the same challenging. Taken on a challenge with me as I am a novice to playing an instrument. In the time he worked with my son, Matt Duduryn was punctual, reliable and organised. He was very good at communicating with us about activities completed in the lessons and practice he had set. It was evident from this communication that Matt has a very conscientious attitude towards his students and gives thought to supporting their progress. In turn, he was mindful of how we could support these lessons as parents. Matt was always professional, friendly and patient. He took a positive approach at all times and my son was always happy to attend his lessons. In addition, Matt is generous in sharing his own musical interests to foster enthusiasm in his pupils. This gave a wider context to learning music which we appreciated.

I’ve been working with Matt as a bass teacher for a few months now and even seen him perform, I can say that he knows the subject very well and can relay the information about the subject in an effective manner. I’ve been learning piano & music theory with Matt since the beginning of November. He is an intelligent, calm, knowledgeable, genuine and patient teacher who is thorough in his direction. In the short time I have been learning piano my wife has been astounded at how quickly I have picked things up.
