About |
My name is Ken Rhodes and I’ve been teaching guitar since 2006.
Learning guitar is not a “one size fits all” situation. You need to know what to do, how to do it, and especially how to practice it. Playing the guitar should be fun, but learning how to play needs to contribute to that fun.
Let’s have some fun together with guitars!
Music Qualifications & Achievements:
I’ve always been drawn to teaching. I get a great feeling when someone I’m teaching has that “Ah-ha” moment and their understanding grows.
My mother taught in a public school for 40+ years, and after working different jobs and pushing guitar to a hobby, I finally realized that I wanted to spend my time helping others learn how to play the guitar. The thing I’m most proud of musically is my students who have taken a great deal of joy out of playing the guitar over the years.
