I want to start by saying if you are looking for vocal coaching, there is genuinely nobody else I would recommend more, which I why I want to share my experience. As a vocalist it’s hard to know who to turn to as there as so many people in the industry who lack experience to make a difference to your voice, or who are just in this for the money. Jennifer is not one of these guys. She genuinely cares and is like actual genius. Having heard of Jennifer for many years via fellow vocalists, I always wanted to have vocal coaching with her. Her expertise was evident from the capability of the vocalists I know that have had classes with her. I saw an advertisement for her small singing group course so decided to get in touch. She is so approachable and interested in what YOU want to learn, not just what she wants to teach. She asked about any barriers I felt I faced vocally and what I wanted to improve. The course is via zoom, which was perfect for me living in London. It’s designed for 4 people so that you receive feedback from your fellow singers. The course runs for 4 weeks and each session is two hours long and as vocal coaching goes, her rate is EXTREMELY reasonable. During the course we went through everything, from any insecurities and things that have held you back from your goals, to industry advice and of course – vocal coaching. I felt reassured, safe and my previous anxieties about singing in front of a small audience were well and truly obliterated. The difference in my voice after one session was unbelievable. She designed the course around what each one of us wanted to learn, but also added in things that she picked up on when listening to us sing. Each session was recorded and we were able to access this afterwards to watch back and practise to. Having completed the course, I’ve gained so much vocally and feel like I have a stronger voice. I’m able to do things I couldn’t before and have learned where I was going wrong and the right way to do things. I’ve performance tips and have so much to go forward with. I’ve also regained my confidence, which is something I have struggled with and feel like it was an invaluable experience. Thank you so much Jennifer – you are an absolute legend.

Jennifer made an immediate positive impact in her role at the RNCM and has added value to the team and to the student learning experience. Through her industry contacts, our popular music choir were invited to perform with Blossoms at the BBC Music Day – an experience they valued highly and one which the RNCM’s national profile benefited from greatly. She has successfully tutored Principal Study vocalists and has provided insightful industry guidance to her cohort of final year students in their Professional Engagement. She has provided a first class service.

Jennifer is very natural and lets you find your own voice because ultimately you are your own voice. I don’t think I had any confidence and then it turned up in abundance. Jennifer cares. You can’t ask for much more than that but she gives so much more.
