Hannah took all the time to explain everything in depth; she also sent materials beforehand and provided links afterwards. Very thorough. Very good lessons by a very good teacher.

Hannah is instructing my two children, 13 and 15, in piano in their Grade 4 performance studies. They always look forward to their lessons with her, and they enjoy her encouraging and balanced method of teaching. She equally emphasizes all aspects of study from playing to theory, and she is so positive that they always feel empowered to keep trying new techniques, learning new pieces, and growing as musicians. They have learned to have no fear of making mistakes and to enjoy the learning process. We are so happy to have found Hannah, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a piano (or violin) instructor!

Our 7 year old daughter was completely new to the violin when we found Hannah. She has been tutored by Hannah for almost 3 months now, and her progress is amazing. She has already learnt to play a number of simple tunes. What we found most encouraging was that our child has learnt to read music, and has demonstrated an understanding of music theory, all whilst adopting the proper hold for her bow. Hannah is friendly, but professional, she put our very shy daughter at ease, and has really motivated her to practise regularly with the implementation of innovative techniques, such as personal YouTube videos for our daughter to play along with between lessons. Hannah is a fantastic communicator, keeping us updated with our child’s progress, and letting us know weeks in advance if our regular sessions need to be rescheduled. A very reliable and trustworthy tutor that we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others.

Hannah is an excellent music teacher. Her dedication to teaching violin has helped my son immensely in a short space of time, and he is now performing grade 7 violin piece for his GCSE music.
