A lifetime of experience in musical theatre, pop, television and modelling. Qualified to teach all styles from Musical Theatre and Classical Crossover to Rock and Pop. Lecturer at Southampton City College-Performing Arts.
Appeared in West End musicals, Such as ”The Producers’, with Peter Kay. ‘Crazy For You’ UK TOUR. After touring Charlotte was lucky enough to become a Vocal coach and performer on board Cruise ships P&O and NCL.
Worked at Victoria School of Dance and StageSkool on and off over the years and when returning home decided to set up her own business and become a vocal coach. She made the excellent choice of Training with the NEW YORK VOCAL COACHING company and has been a successful vocal coach for now 10 years for various students with different goals, but specialising in drama and stage school admissions and west end auditions.
Charlotte has had many success stories of assisting students to achieve their goals within the arts industry. Colleges including, Laines, Birds, Performers, London studios, Arts Ed, Lamda. Charlotte is an inspiration. She is there as a teacher,friend,mentor and nothing is too much trouble. She has given Doug not only a voice but the ability to perform a song with self confidence and assurance. He can ask her for advice at any time and can run monologues, song choices and any worries he may have past her, knowing he will get her undivided support and professional knowledge. She can advise about auditions and preparation and goes out of her way to help with music and backing tracks. She builds an amazing rapport with her students and he can trust her explicitly. He has the utmost respect and admiration for her and feels so comfortable in his lesson. He has been learning with her throughout the lockdown via FaceTime and this has been just as effective as her studio. She keeps me updated whenever necessary and I feel that I could not have given Doug a better chance in his pursuit of his chosen career.
