A 24-year-old graduate of Edinburgh University, originally from Somerset, working as a teacher and training opera singer! I love singing and I have been performing for 15 years as well as teaching for 7.

I am very enthusiastic, personable and supportive as a teacher and I will always make sure that the most important thing is that we are achieving exactly what the student/parent has in mind. Unlike other teachers, I consider a personalised experience in learning an instrument to be of the utmost importance, I don’t tend to just use teaching technique books and each student will always be treated as though they are unique because they are!

I pride myself on being able to teach a multitude of different genres as well including:

I am a singer-songwriter as well as a classically trained musician so I am also more than happy to give lessons in arrangement, lyric writing, production and general singer-songwriter performance teaching.

As well as having extensive experience as a performance and singing teacher, I also teach the piano as well, from beginner to very advanced. I also teach theory to Grade 8 and teach aural preparation for music exams as well. I have experience teaching all different ages and I am of the opinion that everyone is musical – no matter what. Music is something that happens inherently and is intertwined with our instincts, so everyone is always capable of doing it, as long as they want to try!

I teach my lessons from a teaching space located in Ince Castle Way, Tredworth, Gloucester, UK. My full teaching address will be provided upon your first lesson booking.
