About

About

Hi, my name is Ash, and I’m a music teacher based in York city centre. I offer both online and in-person music lessons in flute clarinet and saxophone for beginner up to advanced students.

I have enjoyed teaching pupils since my first volunteer teaching position at the West Suffolk music hub. Throughout my time teaching, I’ve created an all-rounded approach to teaching including conventional note reading alongside improvisation and playing by ear. Additionally, I encourage pupils to engage in both solo and ensemble playing to enable pupils to become well-rounded musicians

I also offer lessons in music theory for both Abrsm and London college of music exam boards. I offer these through a range of traditional worksheets alongside games and activities designed to enhance you’re learning.
