Alex Villar is an experienced professional guitarist and educator with over 10 years of teaching experience.

He is a specialist in Rockschool, Trinity, and ABRSM curricula for all skill levels and can assist in exam preparation. Alex offers online lessons via Zoom to students all over the world, with a proven track record of success teaching in one-to-one settings, small groups, and larger groups of children at several music academies. Alex provides personalised lessons with high-quality equipment for optimal learning.

With a degree from the University of West London in Popular Music Performance, Alex possesses extensive knowledge and experience in the music industry. He has a wide range of books and digital resources collected from all over the world, including the entire curricula of the most respected music education academies. He can also provide custom practice tracks and clear lesson plans to encourage maximum progress.

Alex’s speciality is teaching guitarists who have played for 6 months to a year and are looking to take their skills beyond a few chords to being able to solo/improvise and learn their favourite songs by ear. He can also assist in preparing intermediate guitarists to break the barrier to professional level.
