I enjoy teaching students of all ages and abilities how to sing, this is why I offer singing lessons to students of ages 4+. I am pleased to offer my singing lessons in any style of music you prefer ranging from Classical to Pop to even Opera.
I pride myself on making sure my lessons are both informative and enjoyable, making sure you learn and have a great understanding of the music you love. I will make a lesson plan based around the syles and genres that you enjoy listening to in your spare time.
Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.
I offer my lessons to both beginners and advanced players. Whatever your level, we will work on what you want to achieve as a vocalist.
I pride myself on providing exciting lessons
I am a qualified teacher, having studied at Trinity College of Music and the Royal College of Music Opera School. I am also an experienced teacher having taught singing in London, County Durham and Cambridgeshire (Peterborough Regional College as a lecturer in Singing and Music Drama).
The teaching encompasses classical technique, song interpretation, foreign language coaching (German, French and Italian) and stage/platform presentation. With styles including Oratorio/Opera, Art Song and Popular / Contemporary Music.
I welcome students interested in learning a wide range of different musical genres and would be delighted to help you develop your singing ability too.
I have experience in teaching beginners
With my students I like to teach in a student-focussed way. Together we will focus on your favourite music and goals and create a tailored lesson plan to help you progress in your singing journey.
I pride myself on making sure my lessons are both informative and enjoyable, making sure you learn and have a great understanding of the music you love.
I recommend taking an hours lesson once per week to see the best results. During an hours lesson we can study and improve all aspects of your vocals.

Guitarbitz is located on 6 Quiet St, Bath BA1 2JS. It is a business local to bath selling an absolutely huge stock of guitar and general music equipment. They sell everything from beginner to professional quality instruments but interestingly for vocalists they stock a host of microphones for recording or live performance and different songbooks from a variety of genres and artists.
PMT Bristol, is part of one of the largest music retail companies in the UK. Located on 5 Rupert St, Bristol BS1 2PY this store stocks a huge variety of equipment for musicians of any instrument. For us vocalists, PMT stocks an array of vocal microphones for live performance and recording, alongside PA speakers for gigging/performance and an impressive stock of home recording software and equipment. PMT really does stock everything a contemporary singer needs in the industry.

My lessons are charged at £25 per half hour and £40 per hour for all students.
The lessons take place from my home teaching space on Beaufort East, Bath BA1 6LY.
I teach students of all ages but would recommend starting no younger than age 4.
I have some students who take weekly lessons and some who take fortnightly lessons. Which you go for is totally up to you.
Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will still be charged full price. Please inform me as soon as you find out that you are unable to attend your lesson - I will be happy to rearrange it with you.
