About

About

Hi! I am a current honours student at the Melbourne Conservatorium studying classical piano performance. I have won numerous competitions across Melbourne since an early age, such as the Scotch piano competition and the Hepzibah Memorial award, and have obtained countless scholarships from the University of Melbourne, notable ones including the Chancellor Scholarship as well as an extremely high amount of entrance scholarship into the conservatorium. As a pianist, I have achieved the highest mark in every single end of year piano recital exam out of all undergrad piano students since the beginning of my university journey, and have played with multiple orchestras, performed in Hamer hall and Melbourne Recital Centre, as well as had my playing broadcasted live over 3MBS radio. I also achieved my FTCL at the age of 14 and Lmusa one year prior.

As a teacher, I will adapt to each students’ needs and identify their own individual problems, whilst providing practical solutions. I will also give dot points to things mentioned during lesson so that the student does not need to stress about forgetting what I have spoken about. My teaching style combines the technical ideologies from Russian piano pedagogy along with the musical ideologies from a more German-styled piano pedagogy, me myself having experienced both.

I can teach all levels of piano students, but a higher level is preferred.

I also teach AMEB music theory up to and including grade 6.
