Stefan is a great teacher! He is extremely flexible and accommodating for virtual lessons across time zones, and he is always sharing exciting new music. I’m particularly enjoying learning some traditional Balkan music. I feel that I have progressed a lot since starting lessons with him. His rate is also incredibly affordable and very worth it.

Stefan is a delight as an accordion teacher. He is clear and very patient in his teaching, and is responsive to the wishes and needs of the student. He helps you find pieces you enjoy playing and keeps the level of variety high. He also insists on playing in a sensitive, musical way, even on exercises, so even a beginner is taught about phrasing, dynamics, and careful listening (to yourself). He is fun to spend time with.

Stefan started working with my youngest (8 y.o. son) a couple of months ago. This was his 1st accordion lesson, but he had 3 years of piano and 1.5 years of violin (both of which he continues now). We have enjoyed working with Stefan (on Skype) and the progress is quite visible. Very recently my daughter (who had previous 1 year experience with accordion and 8 years of piano plus some flute and guitar experience) started working with Stefan too and loved his lessons. Bottom line: I recommend Stefan because he is methodical and fun to work with. I have no doubt that regardless your level – novice or intermediate – Stefan will be able to build up your skills to the performance level. Good luck! Vadim (parent of three… and all 3 play multiple instruments 🙂
