About

Hey! I’m Simon, and I’m a guitar teacher with 12 years teaching experience. No matter your age or experience level, I can help you become a confident, well rounded musician.

12 Years Teaching Experience – Tailor-Made Lessons To Transform Your Playing – All Styles & Abilities – Start Your Musical Journey Today!

Whether you’re just playing for fun or have dreams of selling out massive arenas, my coaching has helped dozens of players overcome their barriers, and I’d love to help you do the same!

I have a wealth of experience and patience as a teacher. To keep things fun, I use song-based learning to teach new techniques, rather than running boring drills and scales. Students stay motivated and progress faster as a result.

Electric Guitar / Acoustic Guitar / Bass / Ukulele

I started learning the electric guitar at age 12 after seeing the music video for ‘Can’t Stop’ by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. In the following years I also took up the acoustic guitar, bass, ukulele and I joined my first band in 2005.

Since then I have been playing, recording, writing, and performing in diverse settings and genres. All of this playing experience has given me a great insight into how people approach making music and I use this to create a relaxed and supportive atmosphere for my students.

Through my lessons you will develop:
Enhanced technical ability
Deeper musicality
Rhythmic intuition
Instrument care
Confidence

Using song-based learning for technique development, you will build skills and knowledge in:

I also integrate Songwriting and Music Theory into his lessons, ensuring you actually understand what you’re playing, not just how you’re playing.
