About

About

Coming from the coastal town of Weston-super-Mare, I decided to move to London to pursue my passion for music. There, I attended the prestigious Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (The Institute) and completed a BMus (Hon) in Popular Music Performance.

I have played with numerous amount of people ranging in various genres from electro-rock to Bengali-folk, and during the journey of playing the many styles I have has increased my passion for the instrument. The reward for teaching is just as great; being able to share knowledge, experience, skills and wisdom to whoever is passionate to learn.

Whether for fun, starting out new, learning new concepts or breaking ground, the content of my teaching will be based on YOUR needs of the instrument.

My drum lessons will be tailored to the student’s needs but areas of focus will include:

– the technique (inc. traditional grip and matched grip)– reading/theory– versatility/styles– improvisation– grades/examinations (Rock School, Trinity etc.)

I look forward to teaching you all.
