About

About

Pete has been studying with voice for 4 years now and has recently decided to take a step into progressing his work as a vocal coach. He has been recording and singing for many years with a repertoire spanning from Classical all the way through to rock/metal. With a 3.5 octave range Pete is able to provide examples of the voice from Baritone to Soprano, helping navigate most types of vocalists.

Pete sings in symphonic metal band Crown Solace, known for their tracks Horizons and Inside My Mind. Pete released his debut solo single, Locked Away, in 2021. An orchestral piano driven ballad, which made it into the top 10 in the UK singer songwriters charts. The track was composed by Adrian Benegas – a big name in the symphonic metal industry and mixed/mastered by Jacob Hansen. In 2022 Pete featured on “A Better Life’s” debut album – Take A Deep Breath, which is a chill out album featuring an ensemble of artist. He also lent his voice to a concept album “Tales From A Lost Land” playing the character of the king.  In 2022 Pete also embarked on a new theatrical metal project Urania Fantasia. They released their first track “The Arcane Muse” earlier this year to rave reviews due to the song being very progressive in style featuring Petes operatic and contemporary vocals.

He is able to teach classically and contemporary in all genres of music and has done through his time as a coach. He uses a clear method of communication to convey techniques that will trouble shoot areas within the voice. Pete always starts the lessons with a check in, a warm up and then sets the focus for the student before getting into the song. If singing locally you will be invited to perform at two concerts a year at a local Theatre. We can also work towards vocal exams or auditions depending on your goals and desires. Pete is always happy to discuss potential students prior to booking in as he understands that the teacher has to be a good fit for the student. This can take place over the phone or online and you are under no obligation to book. Becoming a student will grant access to a student only discord where you can share your vocal progress with other students as well as receive tips and tricks regularly!
