About

About

Having been working as a Musical Director for over 30 years, and teaching singing for 20 I have a wealth of experience to draw from. As a Musical Theatre specialist I have helped pupils prepare for successful auditions to both the major Performing Arts colleges and also for West End roles. I also have an excellent track record for LCM Music Theatre exams, having coached up to Dip Mus level, for which one of my pupils received 98%. My knowledge of the Estill model guarantees that techniques taught will not only improve the quality, control and power of your voice, but that you will learn how to protect your vocal cords and ensure that you continue enjoying to sing forever.

I currently teach singing at Sackville School in Hildenborough, and previously taught at Hillview School for Girls, which is a performing arts specialist, and where I was the Musical Director for 3 end of year productions. Before moving to this area, I also taught at Broomhill Bank School in Tunbridge Wells and Swanley, which are specialist schools for autistic children. In addition, I have taught at various performing arts schools, including Phoenix Creative Arts, for whom I was also the Musical Director of their senior youth theatre, and before that, Italia Conti in Tunbridge Wells.

As well as my technical knowledge, and wide knowledge of Musical Theatre, I bring the sense of enjoyment of singing and the self confidence of hearing your voice improve, that I experienced when I was learning to sing.
