About

About

I’m a working professional opera singer based in the north of Edinburgh. I graduated from the Royal College of Music and Royal Academy of Music in London and was also a young artist in the Studio Opéra de Lyon in France.

My job is my passion and I love travelling the world, meeting new people and sharing this wonderful artform. Between my 3 degrees in vocal studies: undergraduate, post graduate and the advanced diploma (kind of like a PhD in performance), I have built a vast knowledge of vocal anatomy and what makes a happy, healthy sound whilst singing and speaking.

I also have an excellent grounding in music theory and play the flute to an ABRSM grade 8 standard. During my degrees, I taught regularly both privately and in schools, teaching people of all ages and abilities. I’ve also been heavily involved in outreach work for major UK music organisations.
