About

Welcome to piano lessons with Jean Kroll! My goals: Create a positive, motivating, and educational experience in a fun environment. Open communication = parental input on how to work with each student and an organized business.

How I teach: With an upbeat yet gentle teaching style. Students learn best in various ways; lessons are adjusted to the style of teaching needed for each student.

Lessons are fun: Students laugh/smile during lessons, receive prizes, dance, view instruments and music from around the world, may bring show/tell items and much more. With permission, success stories are posted on social media.

I teach the fundamentals of music and incorporate the latest teaching technology. Students are taught notation interpretation, sight reading, interval reading, ear training/playing, chords/scales, and rote learning. Rhythm is taught using Music Apps, CDs and the metronome.

You are an awesome teacher, Jean. I know that is the main reason that my kids like playing the piano so much. Your passion for what you do is evident and makes all the difference in the world. Thanks!
