About

About

Claire is a supportive piano teacher with 15 years’ teaching experience and holds a BA (Hons) degree in Music and MMus in Piano Performance. Based near Frenchay, she enjoys working with children and adults at various stages of their piano playing – including children that are starting to learn; adults returning to piano playing after a hiatus and students studying piano at music schools and as part of their degree programmes.

During her lessons, students acquire a healthy piano technique and excellent listening skills, in order to build a stable foundation so that they can play beautifully and with freedom and expression. Claire has also worked with students that have experienced tension and discomfort within their piano playing, helping them to rebuild their piano technique in order to enjoy playing the music that they wish to play.
