Welcome to
Hi! I'm Rachel Snow, a highly qualified and passionate teacher based in Worcester. I offer piano lessons that range in style and genre to students of all ages and playing abilities.
I am an enthusiastic and passionate musician when it comes to both playing and teaching. I developed a love for piano at the age of six and have since explored a range of styles from the harpsichord music of the Baroque era all the way up to modern-day piano.
My undergraduate degree in Acoustics and Music and my masters in Music Performance allowed me to expand my knowledge not only as a pianist but an overall musician also. I am keen to pass on as much of my knowledge as possible to my students and guide them through their own musical journeys.

My musical background and journey has allowed me to explore all genres and styles of music. Despite being classically trained, I enjoy modern styles such as film and popular music. Whether you're interested in learning the masterful repertoire of Rachmaninov or the beautiful jazz tunes within La La Land, I am happy to tailor our lessons to what you enjoy.
I am eager to teach those of any age or skill ability. No matter what musical journey you are on, I will develop strategies for our lessons that will enhance your strengths and also iron out any weaknesses.
Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.
I welcome students of all ages, playing abilities and walks of life. Whether you're at a grade 8 standard of have never touched a piano before, I am keen to help guide you through your musical journey.
My musical qualifications include ABRSM grades 3 to 8 (all with distinction), LRSM Piano Performing (2001) with distinction, BSc(Hons) Acoustics and Music and MA Music Performance. I take great pride in that for my grades 7 and 8, I achieved the highest exam results in the country and at degree level I also achieved the highest performing grades in th year
I have been playing piano since the young age of 6 years old and have enjoyed every minute of it. Part of my passion for being a teacher derives from wanting others to engage with and love music in the same way I have.
I have always loved exploring all that piano repertoire has to offer. I enjoy a wide range of styles, from early music on harpsichord, organ and fortepiano through to modern-day piano, with all the repertoire along the way.
I particularly enjoy the teaching side of learning piano music, specifically finding methods to suit the individual. Cultivating an efficient learning process, building solid technique and then having the creativity to bring the music to life is a wonderful thing.
I feel immensely proud to see my students who wish to take exams, continuing my record of high achievement when they are also awarded consistent distinctions.
I appreciate that exams are not for everyone and many of my students play purely for pleasure. I am more than happy to guide individuals through their own musical journeys and always, the most important thing for me is that the students enjoys what they are doing. Music should be fun.
