My Lessons

Experienced Teacher

Along with piano, I teach music theory using various methods, I mainly deploy a kinaesthetic approach, teaching through touch, sound, and movement, especially body language. Through the years, I have been observing that adding elements of body movement to my teaching, makes people understand, memorize and feel music easier and quicker.

I am a fan of using music games in my teaching based on rhythm and aural exercises, as well as piano improvisation. I focus on helping people find their confidence, passion, and joy from play. My method of teaching is based on using creativity and a unique approach to every single person. No matter your goal – if you’re looking to master a song or develop the level of your play, I am here to help you with finding your own way of improving and gaining your skills.

My Experience as a Teacher

I started my journey with teaching as a teenager. I graduated from the State Music School in Poland with a Diploma in Music, specializing in piano, viola, and eurythmics. I have been trained to teach music in the methods of Emile Jacques-Dalcroze and Carl Orff, as well as the music learning theory of Edwin Gordon. From childhood on, I have been constantly involved in concerts, events, competitions, exhibitions, theatre, music, dance, and writing.

During my training at Music School, I performed at many concerts and won competitions with The Symphonic Orchestra in countries all around the world such as Saudi Arabia, the Czech Republic, and Cyprus.

I have accomplished a variety of music courses specialized in viola and eurythmics for children and recorded educational songs for youth. I am an active music composer for short movies, videos, and games, filmmaker, and screenwriter.

More About My Lessons

Due to the variety of ages, levels, and goals I teach, I use different methods for each particular group of students: Children: I present the world of music from a beginner level, using methods I’ve created through years of teaching which simplify challenging terms and rules. It provides a stable base for experimentation, creativity, and improvisation, all of which make lessons exciting and awaited.

New materials and terms worked through the lesson are delivered to children through music games, making it easier to memorize and simply enjoy. Students: With intermediate and advanced students I focus more on the mental approach of learning piano. We strongly establish goals and approaches from the start, and I also help with improving technique, music interpretation, awareness of play, and music theory.

I work more on the psychology of your play to prepare you for meeting greater demands. Through doing so, you learn how to stay passionate about the piano and are ready for every challenge that the future beholds. Adults: I strongly believe everyone should experience both classical music, restrained by rules and patterns, and the creative freedom of music – endless and never fully explored. Once we’ve gone through this process, together we set a course for what you like the most and want to explore further in your piano journey. My method here is based on deep exploration and making sure students experience and become aware of all music prospects. I help you to set the direction you would like to go and start preparing you for this journey. Outside of these categories, I can assist in reestablishing a previous knowledge and love of piano, if you’re out of practice or your skills need polishing, I’m happy to assist a reintroduction and a revival of your passion.

Teaching Space
I teach lessons at clients' premises only, thus possession of the instrument is required. All resources and music worksheets are prepared and provided by me for each individual student at each lesson. With younger students, I often use small percussion instruments, already in my possession but this can be established within the first lesson, depending on your requirements. If the student is committed to practicing independently, I have a knowledge of suitable guide books to purchase. For any additional information or to arrange the first lesson, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
