• The student’s location (you travel to them)

• Online lessons (available worldwide)

This flexibility makes it easy for students to see exactly how and where you teach.

Yes. You can update your location anytime by going to Edit Profile and adjusting your “Location” details.

Your profile will then appear in the relevant student searches for your new area. Just remember that location details are publicly visible, so only share what you’re comfortable displaying.

Yes. Once certified, your profile is visible to anyone visiting MusicTeacher.com. Students and parents can search for teachers or music schools based on location, instrument, and lesson preferences.

Your profile acts as your public shop window — showcasing your qualifications, teaching style, and verified status so students can easily find and contact you.

If you’re no longer able to take on new students, you can simply switch your profile to ‘Hide Profile’ mode.

• Your profile will show a ‘Fully Booked’ badge and be removed from general student searches.

• You can switch back to ‘Show Profile’ at any time when you’re ready to accept new students again.

• Even while hidden, your profile remains accessible via its direct link (e.g. if you share it on your website or socials).

Membership fees continue during this period, but this flexibility allows you to manage demand without losing your verified status or professional membership.

Students can contact you directly through your MusicTeacher.com profile. When a student sends a request, you’ll receive an email notification with all the contact details they’ve provided (name, email, phone number if shared) and their message.

This makes it simple to respond quickly, build a personal connection, and arrange lessons in the way that works best for both you and the student.

You may cancel your membership within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. After this period, no refunds are offered.

To stop future renewals:

1. Go to your Membership Settings.

2. Select the Subscriptions tab.

3. Click Cancel Renewal.

Your membership will remain active until the end of the current billing period, and your certification status will stay valid until that date.

Yes. To maintain verified school status, every teacher linked to your school profile must hold their own MusicTeacher.com approved account.
