Welcome, my name is Roberta and I am an experienced harp teacher who helps students worldwide on Zoom, Skype. I play harp for over 20 years and teaching in the music industry for over 10 years. I have been teaching across Italy, Sweden, UK mostly as also online to pupils from Japan and Qatar.
I help students with any music ability from beginner to advanced, helping to choose the right instrument and giving my best recommendations regarding maintenance of the instrument. I include in the lesson, music theory, sightreading, ear training.

I welcome students with any abilities, from beginners to advanced. My focus is on helping to build technical skills, executions, listening and self music cosciuoness. I focus on posture, mindfulness, technical approach and musicality.
Lessons have a mix of listening when required. I prepare students for ABRSM exams, Trinity, entry exam, auditions and competitions as also just for a fun and different hobby able to develop focusing. Each lesson will be tailor to student's needs. I provide regular feedback to parents or guardian about progress.
Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.
I welcome both beginner and advanced students to take my lessons. My lessons are always easy to follow and easy to understand.
Over the years at young age I won a scholarship and I have been teaching music theory and harp at Liceo Bonporti. I had the privilege to teach in private school as well meanwhile I was finishing my Bachelor Degree. I completed at Conservatorio Paisiello in Italy my Bachelor Degree and alongside I have worked with Orchestras, Private and Public Events, assisting my teacher to teach other students in the class, conducting small ensemble, performing for different ensemble nationally and recording a CD with 50 harps.
I gained another two Masters Degree in Music at Conservatorio Bonporti with specialization in harp solo and ensemble with Honorous and then moved to Sweden for the Master in Fine arts with specialization in Orchestra Symphonic. I have been playing with international orchestras and developed mindfulness training, Alexander Technique, Stage presence.
I am in UK now since 5 years, completed the Level 3 3 Award in Education and Training, Diploma in Event Management Marketing and Communication, worked for 4 years in Richmond upon thames College as teacher assistant and I am peripatetic teacher at Haringey Music Service.
I teach lever and pedal harp. For beginners I focus on understanding how the instrument works, posture, recognize notes on the strings, articulation, breathing in combination with their skills and ability, building long concentration. I teach aural and theory, sight reading on a weekly basis.
I help to choose the instrument if the student does not have yet one, exploring brands and rental options. For intermediate/advanced I expand and challenge their playing skills, repertoire, discovering aspirations and opportunities in the music industry.
The student explore methods, soloist and orchestra' s repertoire, different styles and different approaches to expand the playing and unlocks concepts. Students are welcome to decide what they want to play, I am happy to help.
I have been performing and teaching internationally. I took part in several music projects in Italy, France, Spain, Scandinavian and UK. I studied for 2 Masters Degree in Italy and the last one in Sweden taking part in training in Alexander technique, stage presence and more. Winner of national competitions since a young age and nominated young talent twice during my studies. My students come from any part of the world, Europe, Asia and Qatar. I will use this experience to make sure your lessons are always of the highest quality.

I take most of my lessons from my home teaching space in central Ealing.
I take on students of all ability levels and all ages.
Weekly lessons are by far the best way to imrpove. Fortnightly lessons are also available.
Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours notice will still be charged full price.
