    Hey everyone.

As a new school year starts I wanted to discus a few things that often plague use as tutors. To see what everyone else is doing and what they see as acceptable.

Pricing: I have just put my prices up from £13 to £15 for 30 minutes, and from £26 to £30 for 60 minutes. I have sent out messages saying this starts next week and it was all well received.

Payments: What systems are people currently using? Do you think an automated system that removes this part for the teacher is beneficial? I accept transfers or cash. I did recently have a student ask to use a card machine, does anyone do this?

Chasing: How often and for how long do you chase a student to come back for another lesson before leaving it to them? It is a peeve of mine as if they want a lesson, they should book one, however, a few gentle nudges can really be effective, How do you guys manage this?

Really interested to hear your thoughts- Thanks, Dave
