I believe students of all ages should feel the benefits of playing a musical instrument, although I recommend waiting until age 7 to begin playing bass guitar.
Whether you’re a beginner who just wants to get started or an experienced player that wants to get better, your bass lessons with Dave will be tailored to your exact needs.
Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.
Beginner and advanced students are both welcome to take lessons. I will make a lesson plan that suits your needs as a learner.
I am a qualified music teacher, having achieved a Thames Valley University (Basstech) – Bmus (Hons) – Popular Music Performance graduated 2005, A PTLLS qualification Level 3, Dyslexia, SpLD’s and Contemporary Music Training alongside a ,BTEC in Popular Music and Recording.
Whilst teaching the next generation of bass players Dave has also found the time to tour with some of the biggest names in the Pop industry including the Spice Girls, John Newman, Tori Kelly, Lily Allen and many others.
So Whether you’re a beginner who just wants to get started or an experienced player that wants to get better, your bass lessons with me will be tailored to your exact needs.
I am an expert in teaching a variety of skills such as Repertoire, Technique, Reading, Timing, Music theory, Aural training, Soloing and Grades, but if you are just looking to learn your favourite music, we can do that too!
Many people give up on learning a new skill because their initial enthusiasm runs out. For me the learning process should be fun. I teach people to become great bassists, whilst keeping the lessons exciting and entertaining.
