Music flows through me like blood in my veins. Whether it be jazz, rock, metal, or more, I enjoy, perform, and write in a multitude of genres.
I have been ambitious in writing and performing my whole life. In my early years, I studied classical piano in the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM). Through those RCM studies, I entered my compositions in national songwriting contests and won second place in Canada Music Week.
I attended university for music, immersing my life in my music passion. I obtained my Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies (Vancouver Island University) and went on to achieve my Master of Fine Arts in Music (California Institute of the Arts).
I am also a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music and Royal Conservatory of Music certified teacher.

Linda has been my electric guitar teacher for the past two years, when I got started. She has the patience needed to help me learn, and is always cheerful and encouraging of my progress. I am not only learning to play, but to read and understand music, which is a whole other language to learn! I look forward to our weekly sessions, as music, and for me guitar, has opened up a whole new world.
As an older student who has always wanted to play guitar, but didn’t know where to start, discovering Linda has made that transition very seamless, and welcoming. Linda has great patience for students of all ages, and can relate to our different learning styles, all the while presenting material in a way that is easy to understand, and with clear goals in the curriculum to help me stay on track. Linda has an amazing ability to teach, and can demonstrate the necessary fine motor skills I am continually learning. I look forward to my lessons every week!
Linda is currently teaching my young daughter guitar & voice. Linda has a unique style of being able to connect with her students because of her passion for what she loves to do & it shows in the progress of her students. She is patient & finds ways to communicate what she is teaching & makes it easy for students . I’ve seen great progress in my daughter from starting off slow now she has a momentum that is pretty awesome to see & it stems from Linda’s passion & ability as a great teacher!
Linda teaches our daughter Guitar and Voice. She is the instructor we have been searching for, blending broad musical knowledge with the detail necessary to master a piece of music. She is a natural, gifted teacher. Our daughter looks forward to her lessons and is motivated to practice in between lessons.
great humor, professional, makes learning fun and helps you progress quickly and properly
We’ve been through quite a few teachers and Linda has a great balance of working through fundamentals but yet still allowing our children to explore their own creative instincts. She’s the best!!!
