My philosophy is that everyone can sing! I believe that singing is both fun and therapeutic for all, whether you’re looking to sing in private or perform on stage.

I graduated from Leeds College of Music studying Jazz vocals where I studied under Lauren Kinsella (Snowpoet). As well as performing Jazz, I also perform my original music and arrange music for my function band.

I regularly perform around Yorkshire at venues including Belgrave, Headrow House and Seven Arts and have performed at the Jazz Leeds Festival in 2018 and 2019.

I am happy to teach singing to all abilities whether beginner or more experienced. I want to know what you want to get out of the lessons whether it be: confidence, experience in a particular style, technical help, or exams.

For the first lesson, I would ask the student to bring in a song they want to start with. But don’t worry if you can’t pick! I have plenty of sheet music we can use instead. We would do a vocal warm-up and I would assess the areas we want to work on in particular.

Each singer is unique and each lesson is also entirely unique.

Music Qualifications & Achievements:

• I graduated from Leeds College of Music where I studied Jazz Vocals BA(Hons)
• I have performed around Leeds at venues such as the Belgrave Music Hall, Seven Arts, Headrow House and the Jazz Leeds Festival in 2018 and 2019
• Notable other performances include the BBC Proms in 2012, Disneyland Paris and Notre Dame Cathedral. As well as performing as the headline act, I have supported artists including the Henry Lowther Quintet, Benn Clatworthy and Ruby Rushton
• I have fronted Big Bands, recorded 2 duo tracks with Laurie Holloway MBE and was chosen to represent Leeds College of Music as part of their College Collection in 2019
