Hey! Thanks for heading to my page, my name is Justin Farrow and I provide professional Violin lessons to students of all ages and abilities in Georgetown, Texas.
I am an experienced Violin teacher who has been teaching since 1995 and I love what I do. I am a passionate musician and I feel that this reflects in my teaching style when I work with my students. I can teach in a wide range of styles and genres so make sure to tell me about your favorite artists and biggest influences.
My lessons are catered and suitable for all students. I take the time to get to know you personally so that we can always be learning and playing your favorite songs by your favorite artists. This helps to keep motivation and drive when learning songs as we move along on our musical journey to learn how to play the Violin.

I teach students of all ages, all the way from age 5 to 95. I feel it's never really too early or too late to learn a new skill or instrument. I understand that younger learners will learn differently than adult learners and as such I will always adapt my teaching approach to meet the needs of the individual.
I teach the majority of my lessons from my home teaching space, which offers a relaxed and comfortable environment for you to learn how to play the Violin. I think having fun and feeling relaxed is a crucial element in to learning any new skill. My lessons will always be kept as fun and informative as I possibly can.
Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.
No matter if this is going to be your first time playing a Violin or if you've been playing for years, my lessons are suitable for all students both Beginners and Advanced players.

I spent my childhood growing up in South Austin and I began playing the Violin around the 6th grade. I have since earned a Bachelor Degree in Music Education and I am now also certified to teach Middle School and High School Orchestra. These qualifications have proven invaluable in allowing me to offer versatile and flexible lessons to students from all walks of life.
I have been teaching Violin lessons privately and performing live professionally since 1995. I have been fortunate enough to have performed on stage, television and as a recording artist on various recordings. I currently serve as Minster of Music at Life Church Round Rock Texas as well as an Orchestra Director at Tippit Middle School in Georgetown Texas.
All of this experience combined means I feel comfortable and confident when playing and teaching in almost any style of music. I have been fortunate to work with all different students from all musical backgrounds and I believe this has allowed me to grow into a versatile and flexible teacher able to help you achieve whatever musical goal you may have.

I have been blessed enough to tick off a lot of my musical bucket lists and have been able to live out my musical dreams. As I continue my journey, it is now my passion to help others on their own musical journeys and to help them become the Violin player they've always dreamed of. Any dream will do, no matter how big or how small.
I am still an active member of two current projects, which are Kenny Orts And No Chance & Life Church Round Rock Worship. I am very passionate about both of these projects. In my lessons not only do I like to try and offer tips on how to improve as a Violin player but also as an all round musician too, which helps when it comes to performing/recording in real world settings.
Above all else, I like to make sure that my lessons are always fun and enjoyable for all of my students involved. I feel that enjoying something is one of the most crucial aspects in order to progress at really anything in this life. A lack of motivation can be very difficult to overcome, but having fun ensures we are always driven on moving forward.

Kenz Guitars, is probably the obvious choice in this area. Although this store is mostly aimed towards guitarists, you can also pick up a wide range of other instruments. They are located on 705 S Main St, Georgetown, TX 78626, USA.
Discoteca Rodeo, unfortunately does not have a website but is really the only other local store that we have in this area. This store is located on 105 Luther Dr, Georgetown, TX 78628, USA. This is another store that deals with a large range of different instruments. The staff are always friendly & will help you with anything you need.
Guitar Center, as there aren't really any other local options Guitar Center would be a great online retailer you could try. These ship all over the states, and don't let the name fool you. They not only sell guitars but a huge range of all instruments too including Violins.

Lessons are $27.50 for half an hour.
Lessons can take place at my home address in Georgetown, TX 78633, USA (full address would be provided upon booking your first lesson).
I teach students of all ages 5+.
No you can attend lessons as and when you like. I would recommend one hour a week for the most consistent progress.
Any lessons cancelled within 48 hours can still be charged for. I am happy to reschedule cancelled lessons where possible.
