Teacher Info

Larissa is an Oxfordshire-based, classically trained opera singer and singing teacher with a passion for all aspects of musical performance and singing. She was educated at the leading independent school Downe House in Berkshire where she won a music scholarship and became Head of Choral and Drama. From 2004 – 2007, she studied music at the University of Bristol, gaining performance experience in the University Opera Society and choral groups.

After graduation, she completed years of voice and piano teaching at Downe House and began her postgraduate diploma at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where she was awarded a distinction for her final recital by leading British soprano and Classic FM presenter Catherine Bott. From 2011 – 2012, Larissa worked as a peripatetic voice and piano teacher at Hilden Grange Preparatory School in Kent and has retained an enthusiasm for teaching and coaching.

She has worked with a number of the UK’s top Opera companies as a member of the chorus, including Grange Park Opera (2013 / 2014) and Opera Holland Park (2016), and remains in demand as a soloist and recitalist.
