Teacher Info
My online piano lessons are designed to help you grow as a musician while developing skills that will serve you for life.
For over 13 years, I have been teaching piano to children and adults. Music has always been such a big part of my life from a very young age. I have been working as a professional musician for over 20 years, and performing as a Wedding Singer since 2015 for which I have won several awards including ‘Hitched Couples’ Champion’ and ‘Book Entertainment Best Wedding Ceremony Act’.
My piano lessons are suitable for adults and children. I keep a Progress Log for every student which I update at the end of each lesson, helping them to track their progress over time and consolidate their learning. I am also able to enter students for digital Trinity College Piano and Theory exams to gain qualifications, and I have a 100% pass rate. Each successful candidate receives an official certificate recognising their achievement.
However, this is optional as not everyone needs or wants to take exams. I welcome students who simply want to take up the piano as a hobby! I aim to motivate and guide my students towards success, but I also want you to have fun – I’m here to make the learning process easier and more enjoyable. I can’t wait to start working together towards your goals and sharing my love of music with you!

Jayne is a great piano teacher who encourages her pupils and takes a real interest in them. She has made piano lessons a pleasure although still challenging which keeps you interested and helps you make more effort to reach your goals. I like having something to work towards.
My 7 year old daughter has also been having lessons with Jayne too, she absolutely loves it and looks forward to the lesson all week.
We both started as beginners and had never played any piano before but I have been so impressed with how much we have improved and my daughter is currently preparing for her initial grade piano exam. It is amazing that she can do this all online without leaving home.
I would not hesitate to recommend Jayne to any adults and children who want to learn the piano.
I’m 30 years old, and I have decided to play piano quite late on. I’ve never played an instrument before but it’s something that I’ve always wanted to do, and the reason I’ve wanted to play piano is just to be able to relax when I get home, and play something that sounds good but also when friends come round, we can have a bit of a sing and get a party going. It’s something that I’m really, really enjoying doing, and it’s thanks to Jayne for teaching me.
I definitely recommend it. If you are thinking of doing it, Jayne has taught me a lot of good techniques. Give it a try!
What I really enjoy about my piano lessons with Jayne is the mood and atmosphere that you can capture in a room when you play a piece right.
It gives me a challenge to do it at home, whether that be preparing for exams or learning new jazz pieces, and it’s a sense of satisfaction when you can play them right as well. I love learning new songs in different styles.
If you are thinking about having piano lessons with Jayne, I say go for it. Get in touch today because you definitely won’t regret it!
