Teacher Info

As a child I competed in music festivals throughout Scotland, taking singing lessons from visiting teachers.

I enjoyed a wide variety of roles in local amateur musical and operatic societies gaining a wealth of experience in repertoire and production Professionally I qualified with Dip.Mus. T (Singing) in 1997 teaching a variety of pupils and styles.

I then focused on performing a three-piece vocal pop group, Abba Tribute and most recently my own solo Classical/crossover cabaret show which I have been performing abroad for the past 10 years.

Since returning to Scotland I have attended several industry-led singing teacher training courses to keep up to date with current techniques and styles and have completed Estil level 1 and 2. It is now my intention to bring my experience of performing and teaching to each individual client, with every session tailored to their personal goals.

Combining professionalism and knowledge with a fair bit of humour and fun, my aim is to enable every client to learn and explore the joy of singing. I teach students from the ages of 10 years old and upwards, including many adult learners.
