Hello, my name’s Cathy. I’ve been playing the guitar for 22 years, drums for 15 years and bass for 10 years. I remember when I was younger, my dad took me to my first ever gig and I was so inspired to play the guitar that I started lessons the week after in primary school.

For 3 years now I’ve been teaching children in primary school how to play instruments in a band. I teach guitar, drums and bass so I’m very experienced in teaching these instruments. I make sure each child is on a progression path to get them to where they want to be with their instrument.

Music Qualifications & Achievements:

I studied music in my GCSEs as well as going into a music diploma in Manchester. This course involved songwriting, music production and ensemble.

I’ve recorded a couple of albums of my own as well as being session musicians for other peoples bands.

I used to be a musical director in a big modern church where I played electric guitar every week for about 7 years. This gave me the opportunity to learn how to play live and with other musicians.
